A book on the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has been published in Russian, French, Spanish, German, Arabic, and Italian by the Central Compilation and Translation Press.

A ceremony was held in Beijing on Saturday to mark the release of the newly-published editions.

Xi Weidong, president of the publisher, said at the ceremony that the publication was released in celebration of the 102nd founding anniversary of the CPC, which falls on Saturday.

The multilingual books will help foreign readers understand the development of the CPC more objectively and accurately and are significant in presenting a China that is credible, appealing, and respectable, according to the publisher.

An English edition of the book was published in 2021.
