With Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to the “land of a thousand hills” in late July, more and more Chinese people began to take note of the beautiful landlocked country in Central and East Africa, Rwanda.
China and Rwanda established their diplomatic relations in 1971. Now China is Rwanda’s biggest trading partner and project contractor, as well as one of the major sources for its foreign investment.
