ON March 27, 2020, Beijing Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medicine released an epidemic relief and rectifying drink prescriptions online, offering its COVID-19 treatment plan to 30 countries and regions including Italy, Iran, Spain, France, Germany, the U.K., Switzerland, Netherlands, the U.S.A., South Korea, Japan, and Australia in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in many countries, Beijing Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medicine, which is in charge of international business under the Beijing Tong Ren Tang Group, has provided various forms of assistance such as the establishment of an overseas epidemic prevention and control expert group to research and develop prescriptions, allocation of emergency medical supplies, and donation programs.
The prescriptions are traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment plans specially designed for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic, developed by an expert group of 20 prestigious overseas TCM doctors from Tong Ren Tang led by the well-known TCM master Tang Zuxuan. At present, 45,000 doses of medicine have been allocated to Italy, Canada, Singapore, the U.K., Sweden, and other countries, which have been welcomed by overseas Chinese and local people.
