Global Music Tour: Jean Muller Piano Recital

Time: 7:30 pm, July 16

Address: National Center for the Performing Arts

Price: 240, 200, 160 yuan

Jean Muller was born in 1979. He took his first piano lessons at the age of six with Marie-José Hengesch at the Conservatory of Luxembourg. Only one year later he gave his first public performance, playing a work by his compatriot Alexander Mullenbach. It was only at age 15 that he decided to devote his life to music, when he was awarded a scholarship to study for one semester with professor Teofils Bikis at the Latvian State Academy for Music in Riga. Afterwards, he studied in Brussels, Paris and Munich. Despite the guidance and mentorship of the notables of his time, his father Gary Muller was the major influence on his musical development.
