RMB 361.9 Billion

China's five major commercial banks all reported remarkable performances for the first half of the year. The total net profits of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank and Bank of Communications were RMB 361.9 billion, up 29.41, 45.4, 27.86, 31.22 and 29.67 percent respectively, far exceeding investors' and analysts' expectations.
