Party Leadership Changes in Three Region/Provinces

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China appointed Chen Quanguo, Qin Guangrong and Luo Baoming as the new Party secretaries of Tibet Autonomous Region, Yunnan and Hainan provinces respectively.

Chen Quanguo, born in 1955 in Henan, has a master's degree in economics and served as the governor of Hebei before assuming his current post. Qin Guangrong, born in 1950 in Hunan, was acting governor and vice Party secretary of Yunnan before being elected its governor in 2007. Luo Baoming, born in 1952 in Tianjin, was elected deputy Party secretary of Hainan in 2001, then governor in 2007.
