Puccini´s Opera Turandot (NCPA Production)

Time: 19:30, August 5 - 7, 2011

Place: National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA)

The NCPA's version of Turandot is the first original work that the NCPA has mounted and is by all reports an excellent production. Puccini Festival Foundation, the specially invited partner for the NCPA version of Puccini's Turandot, has granted its full support from opera creation to rehearsal. Hao Weiya, the young Chinese composer entrusted by the NCPA with its creation, becomes the third composer in the world and also the first Chinese artist to stage Puccini's Turandot.
