I have been a subscriber to China Today for 27 years, since the time that it was China Reconstructs. I first came across it during a tour to China in 1984, I enjoy reading it each month and have found it very instructive on all aspects of life in China. I have been amazed at the changes in Pudong. When I was in Shanghai in 1984, I looked across the river at a series of smoke-blackened warehouses, but what a transformation today.
I have one comment. In your May issue, you take up 20 pages dealing with China-U.S. relations. The individual articles are all quite good, but the result is a lot of tedious repetition. Perhaps more consultation between contributors would eliminate this.
My best wishes for the future of your excellent magazine.
