Sentence with a series of verbal constructions: two or more verbs or verbal phrases are used as the predicate of the same subject.

For example:

我要去理发｡｡

Wǒ yào qù lǐfà.

I'm going to get my hair cut.

Exercises: combine two sentences into one with verbs as predicates.

For example:

珍妮去医院｡珍妮看病｡｡

Zhēnní qù yīyuàn. Zhēnní kànbìng.

Jenny goes to the hospital. Jenny goes to see a doctor.

珍妮去医院看病｡｡

Zhēnní qù yīyuàn kànbìng.

Jenny goes to hospital to see a doctor.

Chén Lǎoshī qíchē. Chén Lǎoshī shàngbān.

Mr. Chen rides a bicycle. Mr. Chen goes to work.

2. 马克去上海｡马克旅游｡｡

Mǎkè qù Shànghǎi. Mǎkè lǚyóu.

Mark goes to Shanghai. Mark goes on a trip.
