Recently Gloria Hotels & Resorts signed an agreement with Wuxi-based Shuangyi Property Investment & Development Co., Ltd. Under the agreement, one of the company’s hotels has been renamed the Gloria Plaza Hotel Wuxi. This hotel covers an area of 23,000 square meters and enjoys a premier location in the heart of Wuxi City’s new administrative area, just 10 kilometers from the Wuxi Airport. The main building of the hotel has 13 floors, with three levels for dining, entertainment and conference space, and the remaining ten for accommodation. A shopping mall and business and health centers are available to meet travelers’ needs. The hotel is scheduled to open to the public in mid-2010.

Moscow Restaurant Reopens after Renovation

Moscow Restaurant first opened in Beijing in 1952. For more than half a century it bore witness to the ups and downs of Sino-Soviet relations. Although now more and more Western restaurants have emerged in Beijing, none can math the many fond memories that Moscow Restaurant stirs in the minds and hearts of old Beijingers. Moscow Restaurant has now reopened after renovations restored its original appearance of 55 years ago while incorporating modern elements.
