Boao Forum Focuses on Emerging Economies in Asia

In mid-April the annual Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) was held in south China's Hainan Province, under the theme "Asia: Managing beyond Crisis." This year's conference placed for the first time in BFA history a special emphasis on newly-growing economies. Topics included the increasing role these economies play in global financial reform, how to cope with price fluctuation in primary products, and how to help small and medium-sized enterprises.
