About China Today

    China Today (formerly China Reconstructs) was founded in 1952 by late Soong Ching Ling (Mme Sun Yat-sen), honorary president of China. Now in its 57th year, China Today is a multilingual comprehensive monthly magazine in China that reports on the nation to the world. It is published in six printed editions, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese and Tibetan, and also six online digital editions, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, and German. Its readership is spread over more than 150 countries and regions. China Today, following the principle of "speaking through facts," gives factual information on China's society, economy, life, culture and customs, arts and topography. Its animated reportage and vivid pictures are of universal appeal. China Today is the first Chinese periodical to establish editorial and publication offices abroad.
