China Pledges Closer Cooperation with New Zealand

Vice Premier Hui Liangyu pledged on Monday to boost cooperation with New Zealand as he met with New Zealand's Maori Affairs Minister Pita Sharples.

During the meeting, Hui hailed the bilateral ties between China and New Zealand since the establishment of diplomatic relations 40 years ago.

China and New Zealand, with their extensive exchanges and cooperation, have made a positive contribution to the harmony and prosperity in Asia and the Pacific, said the Chinese vice premier.
