Singapore PM Meets Chinese Foreign Minister

Visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Monday to discuss bilateral relations and regional cooperation.

Lee said that Singapore attached great importance to developing its relations with China and that he was happy with the constant progress achieved by both countries in cooperation in various fields.

The Singapore prime minister said he saw the potential in the Chinese economy to achieve further sustained fast growth and expected it to be more vital in the future.
