Chinese Loan to Benefit Ghanians

Ghanaian President John Evans Atta Mills on Tuesday promised Ghanaians more jobs and said the China Development Bank's 3 billion U.S. dollars loan would help the job creation.

Speaking at the 2012 May Day celebrations at Sunyani in Ghana's Brong Ahafo region, President Mills congratulated Ghanaian workers for their immense contribution to national development, without which the country would not have been where it had reached in national development.

Ghanaian government recognized job creation as one of the four pillars supporting "Better Ghana Agenda", and Mills assured Ghanaians that CDB's loan would be channeled into various sectors of the economy that will eventually lead to human resource development.
