Senior CPC Official Meets Guests from Laos

 

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) met with senior cadres from the ruling Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) on Thursday.

Liu Qi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, hailed the traditional friendship and current ties between China and Laos during his meeting with the delegation headed by Chansamone Chanyalath, a member of the LPRP Central Committee.

Liu, also secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC, said the Chinese party and government attach importance to the relations with Laos and will work together to further bilateral ties.

Chansamone Chanyalath, also Laotian deputy defense minister, said the political mutual trust and cooperation in various fields are expanding and fruitful, and Laos will strive to strengthen ties with China.
