China Hopes DPRK-US Meeting Helps Six-party Talks
China hopes talks between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the United States yield positive progress and promote the resumption of six-party talks, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said Friday. Hong told a regular press briefing that China is greatly concerned about the DPRK-U.S. talks held in Beijing. U.S. Special Representative for DPRK Policy Glyn Davies met with a DPRK delegation led by its First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye Gwan in Beijing on Thursday.
