China, Namibia Held Talks on Bilateral Friendly Relations

Visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi held talks Thursday with his Namibian counterpart, Utoni Nujoma, on bilateral friendly relations.

During their talks, Yang said that China attaches great importance to its ties with Namibia and stands ready to make concerted efforts with Namibia to implement the consensus reached by leaders of the two nations on further advancement of their relations, cement their traditional friendship and promote political trust.

To strengthen China-Africa friendly cooperative relations is an important bedrock of China's foreign policy and a long-term strategic choice, said Yang.
