Wang Ming: Mark, what's wrong with you?
马克: 没什么, 有点儿 咳嗽。
Mǎkè: Méishénme, yǒudiǎnr késou.
Mark: Nothing serious. I just have a cough.
王明: 你 以后 别 抽烟 了。
Wáng Míng: Nǐ yǐhòu bié chōuyān le.
Wang Ming: Please don't smoke anymore.
马克: 我 每天 抽 得 不 多。
Mǎkè: Wǒ měitiān chōu de bù duō.
Mark: I don't smoke many each day.
王明: 那 对 身体 也 不好。
Wáng Míng: Nà duì shēntǐ yě bùhǎo.
北京 所有 公共场所 都 禁止 吸烟。
Běijīng suǒyǒu gōnggòngchǎngsuǒ dōu jìnzhǐ xīyān.
Wang Ming: It's bad for your health anyway. And smoking is prohibited in all public areas in Beijing.
马克: 我 也 想 戒掉,可是 又 觉 得 不 抽烟 不 舒服。
Mǎkè: Wǒ yě xiǎng jièdiào, kěshì yòu jué de bù chōuyān bù shūfu.
Mark: I do want to quit. But I feel uneasy if I don't smoke.
王明: 时间 长 了 就 习惯 了。 戒烟 需要 坚持。
Wáng Míng: Shíjiān cháng le jiù xíguàn le. Jièyān xūyào jiānchí.
我 劝 你 还是 早点 戒掉 吧。
Wǒ quàn nǐ háishì zǎodiǎn jièdiào ba.
Wang Ming: You'll get used to it as time goes on. Quiting smoking requires persistence. I suggest you quit as soon as possible.
马克: 抽烟 习惯 了。
Mǎkè: Chōuyān xíguàn le.
Mark: I'm used to smoking.
王明: 那 你 克制 一下,尽量 少 抽。
Wáng Míng: Nà nǐ kèzhì yíxià, jǐnliàng shǎo chōu.
Wang Ming: You should control yourself and smoke as few as possible.
马克: 好,我 试试 吧。谢谢 你。 今天 先 吃点 咳嗽药。
Mǎkè: Hǎo, wǒ shìshi ba. Xièxie nǐ. Jīntiān xiān chīdiǎn késouyào.
Mark: All right, I'll try. Thanks a lot. Now I'm going to take some cough remedies.
王明: 你 最好 有空 去 医院 找 大夫 看看。
Wáng Míng: Nǐ zuìhǎo yǒukòng qù yīyuàn zhǎo dàifu kànkan.
走 吧, 到点 了, 咱们 一起 吃饭 去。
Zǒu ba, dàodiǎn le, zánmen yìqǐ chīfàn qu.
Wang Ming: You'd better go to see the doctor if you have time. It's lunch time, let's have lunch together.
马克: 你们 去 吧,我 不 去 了。
Mǎkè: Nǐmen qù ba, wǒ bú qù le.
Mark: You guys go. I'm not going.
王明: 不 吃 午饭 了?
Wáng Míng: Bù chī wǔfàn le?
Wang Ming: You're not having lunch?
马克: 谁 说 的? 我 带 了 一盒 牛奶 和 两个 西红柿。
Mǎkè: Shuí shuō de? Wǒ dài le yìhé niúnǎi hé liǎngge xīhóngshì.
Mark: Who says so? I brought a carton of milk and two tomatoes.
王明: 这 就是 你 的 午饭 了?
Wáng Míng: Zhè jiùshì nǐ de wǔfàn le?
Wang Ming: Is that your lunch?
马克:对啊。 我 正在 减肥,下午 还要 去 健身。
Mǎkè: Duì'a. Wǒ zhèngzài jiǎnféi, xiàwǔ háiyào qù jiànshēn.
Mark: Yes. I'm on diet, and I'm going to the gym in the afternoon.
王明: 中午 不 吃饭 容易 得 胃病,
Wáng Míng: Zhōngwǔ bù chīfàn róngyì dé wèibìng,
会 把 身体 搞垮 的。
huì bǎ shēntǐ gǎokuǎ de.
Wang Ming: Not having lunch may cause stomach ailments, and ruin your health.
马克: 没事儿,你们 快 去 吧。
Mǎkè: Méishìr, nǐmen kuài qù ba.
Mark: No problem. You guys go.
王明: 真 拿 你 没 办法。
Wáng Míng: Zhēn ná nǐ méi bànfǎ.
Wang Ming: Up to you.
