Wáng Míng: Mǎkè, nǐ de Hànyǔ xiànzài shuō de zhēn búcuò.

Wang Ming: Mark, you speak Chinese quite well now.

马克:谢谢,我 在 学校 学 了 四个月 了,收获 很大。

Mǎkè: Xièxie, wǒ zài xuéxiào xué le sìgèyuè le, shōuhuò hěndà.

Mark: Thanks. I learned a lot during these four months in school.

王明: 这 段 时间 你 边 工作 边 学习,

Wáng Míng: Zhè duàn shíjiān nǐ biān gōngzuò biān xuéxí,

                  适应 学校 的 生活 吗?

                 Shìyìng xuéxiào de shēnghuó ma?

Wang Ming: Did you adapt yourself to school life while still working?

马克:我 很 习惯。 学校 不但 环境 好, 读书 风气 也 很好。

Mǎkè: Wǒ hěn xíguàn. Xuéxiào búdàn huánjìng hǎo, dúshū fēngqì yě hěnhǎo.

Mark: Yes. The school's environment was not only good, but the study atmosphere was also strong.

王明: 你 一 个 人 在外,会不会 很 想家?

Wáng Míng: Nǐ yí ge rén zàiwài, huìbúhuì hěn xiǎngjiā?

Wang Ming: Do you feel homesick, as you are alone and far from home?

        Wǒ xiǎngjiā de shíhòu suíshí kěyǐ dǎ diànhuà huò fā yóujiàn.

Mark: I have many classmates and friends. So I have a lot to do everyday. When I miss my family, I can call or email them at any time.

王明: 你 觉 得 学 汉语 难 吗?

Wáng Míng: Nǐ jué de xué Hànyǔ nán ma?

Wang Ming: Do you think Chinese is difficult to learn?

马克:语法 比较 简单, 听 和 说 也 比较 容易,

Mǎkè: Yǔfǎ bǐjiào jiǎndān, tīng hé shuō yě bǐjiào róngyì,

         但是 读 和 写 很 难。

         dànshì dú hé xiě hěn nán.

Mark: It is relatively simple in terms of grammar, listening and speaking. But reading and writing are very difficult.

王明: 汉语 中 的 一些 多音字 比较 难 读。

Wáng Míng: Hànyǔ zhōng de yìxiē duōyīnzì bǐjiào nán dú.

Wang Ming: The polyphones in Chinese are quite difficult to read.

马克:对, 多音字 真 的 很 麻烦。

Mǎkè: Duì, duōyīnzì zhēn de hěn máfan.

Mark: Yes. Polyphones are really bothersome.

王明: 这 是 谁 的 字典?

Wáng Míng: Zhè shì shuí de zìdiǎn?

Wang Ming: Whose dictionary is this?

马克:那 是 张老师 奖励 我 的。

Mǎkè: Nà shì Zhānglǎoshī jiǎnglì wǒ de.

         我 每天 都 复习 当天 的 功课, 老师 说 我 很 用功。

         Wǒ měitiān dōu fùxí dàngtiān de gōngkè, lǎoshī shuō wǒ hěn yònggōng.

Mark: My teacher Mr. Zhang gave me that as a reward. I review what I've learned everyday and the teacher commended my hard work.

王明: 你 一会儿 去 学校 吧?

Wáng Míng: Nǐ yīhuìr qù xuéxiào ba?

Wang Ming: Are you going to school later?

马克: 对, 下班 后 就 过去。我 喜欢 在 教室 里 看书 的 感觉。

Mǎkè: Duì, xiàbān hòu jiù guòqù. Wǒ xǐhuan zài jiàoshì lǐ kànshū de gǎnjué.

Mark: Yes. I'm going there as soon as I finish my job. I love studying in the classroom.

王明: 教学楼 里 只有 教室 吗?

Wáng Míng: Jiàoxuélóu lǐ zhǐyǒu jiàoshì ma?

Wang Ming: Does the teaching building only have classrooms?

马克:不,教学楼 里 还有 两 个 放映厅。

Mǎkè: Bù, jiàoxuélóu lǐ háiyǒu liǎng ge fàngyìngtīng.

Mark: No, there are also two projection rooms in the building.

王明: 好像 食堂 离 教学楼 也 不 远。

Wáng Míng: Hǎoxiàng shítáng lí jiàoxuélóu yě bù yuǎn.

Wang Ming: The dining hall seems not far from the teaching building.

马克:对, 晚上 好多 同学 到 食堂 吃 宵夜。

Mǎkè: Duì, wǎnshang hǎoduō tóngxué dào shítáng chī xiāoyè.

Mark: Yes. Many students go to the dining hall to have a late night snack.
