On April 20 local time, the plaque unveiling ceremony of the Charhar Institute's African Headquarters convened at the Mauritius JinFei Economic Trade and Cooperation Zone in Port Louis, capital of Mauritius. The Charhar Institute, established in 2009, is one of China's non-governmental think tanks on diplomacy and international relations. Zhang Guobin, secretary general of the institute, hopes that the African headquarters will form an intellectual bridge linking China and Mauritius, as well as other African countries.
