The early years of the People's Republic of China: I volunteer to join the Communist Party of China, recognize the Party's Program and Constitution, carry out the Party's resolution, observe the Party's discipline, maintain the Party's secrets, prepare to sacrifice all myself at any time, and dedicate my life to the complete liberation of the entire mankind.

After the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of China: I volunteer to join the Communist Party of China, abide by the Party's Constitution, perform the member's duties, carry out the Party's resolutions, observe the Party's discipline, maintain the Party's secrets, be loyal to the Party, work actively, dedicate my life to the struggle for communism, prepare to sacrifice everything for the Party and the people, and never betray the Party.
