Sixth West Lake Expo Held in Hangzhou

The Sixth West Lake Expo is to be held between October 16 and November 6 in Hangzhou, capital of East China’s Zhejiang Province. The expo aims to promote the city’s interactive development of tourism, exhibition economy, trade and culture. It is jointly sponsored by the China National Tourism Administration, Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Chinese Academy of Engineering. The expo is a Hangzhou municipal government undertaking and includes housing, furniture, automobile, and art exhibitions as well as economic and cultural forums. Large-scale activities such as fireworks, a gourmet banquet, a carnival and group wedding will also be held, and new tour programs launched.
