Interpreter Testing

To standardize the national qualification standard and improve the overall quality of translators and interpreters, the pilot English China Aptitude Test for Translators and Interpreters (CATTI) Levels II and III were recently held in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. In the latter half of this year, the Chinese Ministry of Personnel will join hands with China International Publishing Group (CIPG) to hold French and Japanese pilot tests, in addition to the English test, in certain Chinese cities.
