Youth Gain Free Admission to Museums and Galleries

Two students scrutinize a bronze exhibit of the Spring and Autumn Period at the Nanjing Museum.

Since May 1, 2004, groups of young visitors to China's museums, memorials and art galleries have been admitted free of charge. Individual students pay half price, and children get free admission if accompanied by their parents.

The state financial department will cover the program costs.
