Juvenile Heroism Discouraged

Beijing Municipality has just approved Regulations Regarding Protection of Juveniles, a measure to discourage juvenile heroism among many primary and middle schools students.In the past Lai Ning, a 14-year-old Sichuan native who died during his efforts to put out a forest fire, was often cited as a role model for youngsters. The new regulations discourage juveniles from following his example and risk their lives. Parents are being encouraged to take out insurance policies and pay attention to their children's psychological health.
