Shopping spree on Father's Day in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong and Beijing among World's Most Expensive Cities

 

According to a 2003 survey by Mercer Human Resource Consulting on the cost of living, Hong Kong and Beijing are the world's fourth and fifth most expensive cities. Shanghai has fallen to number 11 from its position of 5th last year. The survey covers 144 cities, and compares the cost of over 200 items in each location. They include housing, food, clothing, household goods, and also transport and entertainment.
