SARS Stimulates the Health Care Business


The number of students in gymnasiums is multiplying.

Enormous opportunities have opened up for China's health care industry in the nationwide war on SARS. Traditional Chinese medicine is back in vogue, sales of disinfectant sanitary products have rocketed, and tonics have an ever-greater market potential. The Ministry of Heath has given the green light to production of over 1,000 tonics that build up human immunity.
