Giant Panda Qingqing Has Her 13th Baby


Giant panda Qingqing and one of her 13 offspring. She holds the world record for having the most cubs.

Giant panda Qingqing recently gave birth to her 13th baby at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, making a new world record as giant panda with the highest number of cubs.

Born in 1984, Qingqing had her first baby in 1989. This was her ninth pregnancy, and she now has 13 young pandas, including four sets of twins.
