The US
and China Collaborate in Making Documentary Film
"Beijing Today"
Beijing Today, a full-length, US/China
documentary film project, will be shown to Beijing residents
and also screened in the US. Planned and shot by Americans with
Chinese assistance, this documentary relates stories of Beijing
seen through the eyes of Americans resident there. This 7-part
documentary can be divided into three themes: the first three
parts are about "Americans in Beijing," and the following
three parts comprise "Stories of Beijing Dwellers."
The seventh part, " Beijing Revisited," which has
not yet commenced shooting, tells of an American director, and
what he sees and hears 20 years after his first visit to Beijing.
