Our sincere appreciation of readers' assistance

   As editors of China Today, a monthly magazine published in six languages, we are eager for our readers' comments and suggestions as to how to improve our work. With this in mind, last year we inserted questionnaires into several issues of the magazine, in the hope that our readers would express their opinions on the topics raised. Many of our readers returned the questionnaires on which they detailed their comments, and many also wrote us letters, giving their suggestions. These suggestions and comments are of great assistance to us in bettering our work, and in planning for issues in the year 2001.
At the beginning of the new century, we will send a small gift as a token from China Today, in expression of our sincere appreciation of our readers' assistance, and hope we might receive more letters from our readers.
