Payment Method


Quotation

The quotation is worked out basing on a group of 16 people or more, hotel and airfares at March 2001. It would be somewhat higher if the group size turns smaller, and Regent-China Today reserves the right to make some change if hotel and airfares increase or drop down. The quotation includes international back-and-forth airfares between China and United States (not covering airfare between your city to the departure city), accommodation, meals, guide service, sightseeing, transportation (air fares in China, bus and train) and airport tax. 

Deposit

A deposit of $200 per person is required at the time of confirmation of the reservation.

Final Payment

Final payment of the total tour fare is due 60 days prior to the departure date. If your payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be subject to cancellation without notice and the deposit will be forfeited. If a booking is made within 60 days of the departure date, full payments are due immediately.

Price Guarantee

Your tour price is guaranteed once Regent Travel Network Corporation (Regent China Tours) has received your full payment.

Credit Cards

Prices quotes in this brochure are all Discount Cash Rates. Credit cards may be accepted, but the tour fare will be 4% more than the discounted cash rate.

Changes in Plans

For any changes you make to your reservation within 60 days of departure that affect destination, departure date, program extension and/or traveler names, a $50 per person administrative charge applies, in addition to any other fees imposed by airlines and hotels.

Cancellation:

All cancellation requests can be done through telephone call, but must be followed up in writing, either by FAX or by letter.

Prior to Departure Charge

61 days or more $ 100.00 per person
60 to 30 days $ 250.00 per person
                                                                                                                        29 - 4 days $ 450.00 per person

Plus any and all charges assessed by land suppliers, cruise companies and airlines, which could amount to over US$1,000 or more if cancellation occurs within 30 days from departure date. Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended.

3 days within or after departure date: 100% forfeiture of the tour price per person

Refund on unused or changed tour arrangement

Portions of land arrangements, hotel accommodations or any other service or feature of the tour which are not used are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

Travel Documents

Passports of at least seven months' validity from departure date is required for all tour participants. All application must be forwarded to the Chinese consulate for its approval. Visa fee is not included in the tour fares and is not refundable.

Air Transportation

Air transportation for all programs are based on round trip economy class travel. Regent China Tours endeavors to follow the itineraries precisely; however, if flights are not available at the scheduled time, we reserve the right to modify the air and land arrangements for smooth operation of the tour. All airfares are subject to change without notice. Intra-China airfares are included in the total fare.

Hotels

When the hotel listed in the brochure is not available, the same category hotel or better will be substituted.

Room Shares

We offer assistance in arranging room shares but cannot guarantee that one will be available. Singles who wish to share with another should request this at time of booking and will be booked as a single but willing to share if possible. If at departure there is another person willing to share then the single supplement will be refunded.

Tour Fare does not include:

Air fare from your hometown to the gateway city, air transportation other than stipulated in the actual itinerary, international airport embarkation taxes, China airport taxes, transportation of heavy baggage in excess of applicable allowance, insurance premiums, visa fees, China departure airport fee and tips to tour director, tour guides, drivers and in hotels.

Shopping:

Regent China Tours does not take any responsibility for any items purchased at shops on the tour. Any after sales correspondence must be between the passenger and the shops.

Responsibility:

Regent Travel Network Corporation acts as tour operator and agent. All tickets, coupons and receipts issued by Regent China Tours and all arrangements for transport or conveyance or for hotel accommodations are made by Regent China Tours as agent of the suppliers. By utilizing the services of suppliers, you agree that neither Regent China Tours nor any subsidiary or affiliate of Regent China Tours shall be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay incurred by your or those traveling with you directly or indirectly from any acts or default of the suppliers or from any occurrence or condition beyond the control of Regent China Tours, including defects in vehicles or breakdown in equipment. Nor shall Regent China Tours be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay resulting directly or indirectly from delays, cancellations or changes in flights, itineraries, schedules, steamers or other services, strikes, theft, sickness, weather, quarantine or other causes. All tour itineraries and fares may be affected by alteration or delays in air or surface transportation services of the various countries. Regent China Tours reserves the right to withdraw any tour in this program and to make such alterations in the itineraries as may be found desirable for the convenience of the parties or the proper operation of the tour. Regent China Tours reserves the right to decline to accept or to retain any person as a member of the tour party at any time. All tour fares shown, except in China, are based on present value of foreign currencies in relation the US dollar in effect on September 1, 2000, and in current tariffs on the same date and are subject to change. If Regent China Tours cancels a tour, a full refund of tour payment will constitute full settlement with the passenger. The General Conditions under which you agree to utilize the services of Regent China Tours in arranging the tours in this brochure may not be amended in any way except in writing signed by an authorized officer of Regent China Tours.
