The Best Coverage on Chinese Issues
I am in my second year of study for a master's degree in history at the Universite de Toulouse II-Le Mirail. I have long been interested in China's tumultuous history and I have chosen the major events in 1976 China as the theme of my postgraduate thesis, which I am currently working on. After collecting Western views and reports, I'm eager to learn about what happened at that time in China, and how the Chinese view their history when looking back on this period. I believe that China Today provides the best coverage on these topics.
I often read China Today in the university library. The magazine covers both economic, cultural and social progress in contemporary China and also its history and traditions. Your articles create vivid visions of Chinese life past and present, and have been of great help to me in my studies. I believe that you could help me find information on the 1976 Tangshan earthquake and the death of Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai.
In fact, my family is also interested in China. We began to subscribe to the French edition of China Today several years ago, and have enjoyed it ever since.
