A Tour of Beijing's Distinctive Streets

ON weekends and public holidays Beijing people used to converge upon large shopping centers and plazas, such as Dongdan, Xidan, the Zhongyou Department Store and SOGO. Nowadays, however, it is the streets of Beijing that have particular characteristics, and that purvey assorted commodities, that are the most popular destination for Beijing's consumers.
