Guangxi people love to sing. During
the Guangxi Folk Song Festival, held every autumn, singers
from all over the world gather in Nanning, the Green City.
They give full play to the lasting charm of folk songs
of various ethnic groups and from other countries, and
promote world friendship through musical exchanges. Folk
songs bridge the traditional and the modern, the East
and the West, and celebrate the brilliant civilization
of humankind.
