The largest export market for Shenzhen's Christmas commodities is the United States, with an annual export volume of US $300 million, the export of Christmas trees alone reaching US $100 million. Seven out of ten Christmas trees in the US came from Shenzhen, including the one in the White House. Shenzhen has become the largest production base for Yuletide commodities in the world, with an annual export volume of US $2 billion.
