This is a traditional siheyuan
in Beijing, once the residence of a Qing Dynasty Princess. Situated
at 16 Dacaochang Lane, it has a flight of steps, red-painted
gates, and houses with tiled roofs set around a square courtyard.
In January 1952, it became the birthplace of China Reconstructs
(now China Today) magazine.
